The Hartree team, in partnership with Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination (CC&I), a Cambridge-based art charity, hosted a series of workshops with young people living in North Cambridge. Between February and July 2022, a series of 12 workshops took place with students at the North Cambridge Academy and additional sessions were held with four different classes from Shirley Community Primary School. In total, 118 young people took part. During these sessions, the students were encouraged to tap into their creativity and envision the future of Hartree.
These workshops provided an opportunity for the students think creatively about this new quarter of North East Cambridge. CC&I encouraged the students to think innovatively about space and leverage their own design skills to develop a vision for Hartree.
